Join us for the 17th Annual Portland Women’s Luncheon
Each year, over 100 women in sobriety join us for a fabulous luncheon at the Tualatin Country Club. We get to dress up and attend an event in a country club setting and partake in a healthy lunch and delicious dessert. We get inspiration from a remarkable speaker who shares her experience, strength, and hope in recovery with us. Then we hold “The Raffle”, a loud and boisterous occasion featuring artful gifts and services donated to us by fellow women in recovery.
This year our theme is, “I stood in the sunlight at last.” Despite all the darkness and struggles in our past, we now make choices toward well-being and can see how much we’ve grown. We recognize the preciousness in each fleeting moment, cultivate joy and hope in ourselves, and then bask in light whenever it arises.
Our guest speaker this year is Mary P. of the John’s Landing Group. With 16 years of sobriety, her inspiring story not only demonstrates the power of the program, but her warm and bright spirit is also a shining example of a recovering woman standing in the sunlight of the spirit.
